A native of southeast Arkansas, Joanna Reid grew up with an artist’s eye, always observing people and their distinct beauties.  The youngest of 16 children, Joanna found her niche in art and drawing.  In high school she expressed her natural affinity for the interesting landscapes and faces of Arkansas in graphite drawings.  Ten years later, she returned to her art and enjoys the freedom and color of oil painting.
